Turkish Patients'
Rights Day
With
great efforts of HAYAD, October 26th is now accepted as
the Turkish Patients' Rights Day. In addition to many events and
activities related to this particular day, we present individuals
and institutions stepping forward with their efforts in Patients'
Rights with the "Patients' Rights Services Award"
along with a press news announcement.
Additionally,
1st Patients' Rights Symposium has been organized
on October 28, 2000.

Why is it Given?
HAYAD has officially
declared the 26th of October of each year as the
"Patients' Rights Day". 2001 is the 3rd consecutive
year for the presentation of this award. HAYAD members are honored
to show their appreciation and gratefulness to those who have put
their efforts, services and support throughout the year by
presenting them with this award.

institution
How can you apply?
For each category above,
any person or institution can nominate persons and institutions who
fit the above descriptions. All the applications and suggestions
will be accepted by October 6, 2001. All applications and
suggestions must be forwarded in written form along with the
description of reason for applying including any necessary documents
(if there are any).
