First
month of a brand new year is already behind us with quite a few
news. Our activities continue with the arrival of the new year. We
have made plans for the upcoming activities.
We have contacted Şişli
Municipality for their support and assistance. Mr. MUSTAFA SARIGÜL,
the mayor, and his team have shown great interest for Patients' and
Patients' Relatives' Rights issues and offered promises that are
very important to us. Our relations and attempts do continue.
Finding support through projects to
be given especially to international voluntary organizations by the
help and support of a dear friend of ours is now a possibility. Our
efforts to seek solutions for this continue.
Our Secretary of Board has been
invited to Cyprus Patients' Rights Organization conference. The
organization was founded in September 2001. Dr. Mustafa Sütlaş
accepted this invitation and went to Cyprus. This way we have
started a pleasant relationship with good hopes for the future.
Our educational activities carried
on during January as usual. A conference was held at Şirinevler
70. Yıl Fizik Tedavi ve Rehabilitasyon Merkezi with the
invitation and support of valuable Dr. HÜRRİYET YILMAZ, Assoc.
PhD, head of department. Our board members Atty. Tunç Demircan's and
Dr. Mustafa Sütlaş's presentations for the doctors and nurses
have been very pleasant.
We are repeating our demand for support from everyone as we have done in our previous
bulletins. Because of the Economic Crisis our country and we all are
going through, we surely can use any support possible. We thank
everyone from here who has supported and will be supporting HAYAD.
We are open to anyone who will
support HAYAD and offer any ideas. We believe HAYAD friends will not
leave us alone without any support.
