Welcome to HAYAD, Turkey's
first voluntary organization solely designed for the reinforcing of
an important aspect of human rights - patients' bill of rights and
rights pertaining to their relatives. Like in many other issues
which need to be addressed more seriously in our country we have a
long way to go in terms of human rights. HAYAD has stepped forward
as the first organization to fight for specifically the patients'
bill of rights in 1997 with its true heroism of taking the responsibility
in the quest for establishing a better future for our citizens by
fighting for the basics of our society - our rights as
individuals.
Our dream is to
ensure that each and every one of the citizens of Turkey is
one day fully aware of all of their rights as individuals, and our
organization's aim is to take part in this by providing them with
all the tools necessary.
